Forums - Nintendo - NoA announces Q2 lineup for Wii, DS and 3DS.

3DS just launched, and it had good games laready, and a really strong launch window.

DS..... it's succesor just arrived, and it actually had a pretty good Q1 (Pokemon, Okami...)

So why the doom and gloom for Wii when the Wii lineup looks just as good as the DS and 3DS ones over the next Quarter?

3DS has a bunch of games anounced?

And DS already had plenty of games and it's finishing it's lifecicle?

Wait. Okamiden isn't a Nintendo game, so it shouldn't be taken into account.

Pokemon was finished a while ago, it was just released in the US, so it doesn't really count as a game made for this quarter.

Well remember, before the 3DS was anywhere near launch, there were about 70 games listed to be in production for the thing. We don't know when they are are coming, but we know that they are.

The Wii...not the case. Problem is, most of the anticipated games are Japanese made in addition to being Japanese oriented; no one is sure how long localization will take. For the firs 6 months, the only title worth thinking about is Conduit 2.......

God bless High Voltage Software.

Depends on what kind of games the gamers on the system like.

For you, Conduit 2 might be pure gold. For the average Wii gamer, Wii Play Motion might be the best thing released all Year.

Nah, Wii pretty much has now seven games announced of any merit: Xenoblade, Last Story, Kirby, Wii Play Plus, Zelda, Dragon Quest, and Conduit 2. Of those only 2 have fixed release dates, two are definitely coming but probably not this year, and two have their worldwide releases in doubt.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

When Conduit 2 is the most anticipated game for the system in the first half of the year, you know something has to change and quickly

Name 1 worthy game for Wii this year. And apart from Zelda/Pikmin, many games are doubtful/not coming/average/too far.

1. You already named a couple.

2. You are assuming this list is the entire year? Again, E3 is when the second half of the year games are announced.
