Interesting that in the top#20 (apart from Ninty titles) you only have:

- Gran Turismo
- Sims (PC hit)
- GTA x 2

Now although GT is going to be huge - the racing market is much more saturated than it used to be. Also, the extra console power has less impact for racers than most other genres.

GTA is the key - and anyone suggesting that Sony not pursue that exclusive PS3 content for GTA might be making the biggest mistake of this generation.

How will that look at the end of the gen though?

Here in Norway there's just one Wii title on the top 20 list (SMG), and I think it's quite similar in the rest of scandinavia.

Nintendo owns the 10+ million club.

I wonder wich new IP can enter that select club. My money is on Wii Play and Wii Fit.

And from the known IP's in the top 20, I think only Mario has what it takes to sell over 10 million again with SMG and SSBB will do similar numbers. GT has gone multi and therefor stands no chance. And the GT series has lost alot of ground and userbase. I see GT5 en finish just outside the future top 30.


And who would have thought, Mysims is a 1 million seller.

Nintendogs is a beast! But still a long way of from the monster that was Pokemon Red/Green/Blue. Still the best selling game if you take away bundled games. Bundled games excluded the top 5 would look like this:

1. Pokemon Red / Green / Blue
2. Pokemon Gold / Silver
3. Super Mario Land
4. Super Mario Bros 3
5. Nintendogs
