Just put this up guys - top sellers for Wii, PS3, X360, DS, PSP, 3DS and multiplatform. Also includes HW sales trends.

Not many million-sellers by platform this quarter. None for PS2, 3DS, and PSP. Two for Wii, three for PS3, one for DS & X360 (excluding bundled games). There were nine multiplat million-sellers though.

Basically :

- EMEAA HW is way down

- Japan / Americas HW - a little down. JP would be very down without 3DS though (-42%)

- X360 Up in EMEAA a little bit, and alot in Americas, down in Japan, up modestly worldwide

- All other HW down in Q1 2011.

Mine: PS3: 2.7M, 360: 2.45M, Wii: 2.37M. Numbers should be more accurae than Q4 2010 because it's easier to track than the holiday season.

The 3DS base is still far too small to support many profitable games. Only eight games have sold even 100,000 units on the device in its half a quarter on the market. For a launch period on a Nintendo system though, third parties have done remarkably well so far, taking eight of the top ten spots to date.

What a great achievement for third parties considering Nintendo released 3 games and one of them got released in single territory. Seriously is this supposed to be analytical article or maybe something to make the readers laughting ?

Would you like to tell which other Nintendo system launched on the back of third party games rather than a killer-app from Nintendo? Its clearly a very different launch and whether you want to recognize that or not it was worth pointing out. You're pretty consistently obnoxious about everything though so its not that surprising to hear from you.

But ok if you want to belive that 8 out of 10 places in top 10 is great showing of 3rd parties when it was impossible for them to take less than 7 fine with me.

It's not normal for Nintendo hardware to launch with 80% of the top 10 being third party. It wouldn't be an analysis of "Top game and Hardware Trends" without mentioning that fact.
