probably gonna be micro-transaction stuff.
if they were interested in free stuff, they would have supported iplayer.

We will see, but just know that it will be cold in hell before Microsoft offers any feature that is truly free to use.

farmville is a good example of a F2P that is not a MMO. Yes you can have friends but you can never actually play together.
Wow..now xbox live needs a 4 year 99 dollar package deal for a single account and it will be worth it IMHO.

"Joy Ride for Kinect was originally pegged as a F2P game for Xbox Live Gold and Free members when it was first unveiled at E3 2009. Game modes and environments were planned to be free. Customization options were going to cost Microsoft Points, however."
I owuldn't say it isn't pausible at all. In fact i think its likely all users will get access so MS can make mmore money from said games when people buy the accessories for them. The more people that have access the more people that can buy stuff for the game.
There is no way for MA to make further money from facebook so they limit it to gold memners to get people to purchase gold, different business plan.
The article did mention that some MMOs use the f2p system but did not make it sound like that is what MS is pushing here. They made it sound like it would be more like joyride. I am guessing it may be like alot of facebook game too.
Actually most customers should have realised by now that XBL silver will forever be treated as a 2nd class citizen and hence they would buy some other consoles.
Gold for F2P games is an awesome deal IMHO. Much like PSN plus.
