Ah, the curse of spoilers. Lost my rag many a time over at CBR, my once internet home, about idiots splurting spoilers about happenings in comics without spoiler warnings. Thread titles being the worst source of idiotcy. Got spoiled on Psylocke and Colossus's return to comics via that.

Since I've become an artist at it. My craziest being the whole running out of the room during TV adverts just so I avoid the Thor trailer. I'm going to see it, why would i want to see the spoilers of the trailer?

I'm also, now avoiding all Dragon Age II stuff (haven't got it yet) and Mass Effect 3 stuff as I know I'm getting that.



Hmm, pie.

Trailers are tricky. I have to see them when the game is not out but when I finally play the game I regret seeing the trailers. No win.

I began doing that around the middle part of 2009. It's been for the better. I used to spend more time reading about games than playing them. Now, it's about equal.

Ah I've done this with Monster Hunter 3 and I was deeply impressed with the monster models, movements, and the gameplay in general of the game. And I thought I'd be disappointed... But I was more than happy with what I got. I think you should do this because it would definitely add to the surprises of the game.

I'm not going to go out of my way to watch U3 stuff before I play it, but I'm not going to actively avoid seeing stuff either. Mostly I watch stuff over the interwebs on a little wee video window about 1/5 the size of my monitor screen. So it's pretty damned hard to spoil the visual feast. Won't be downloading any 720p trailers or clips off PSN though.

Beyond E3, I do my best not to think about these games, as I felt I had already seen about 1/4 of Uncharted 1 before I played it

I did pretty well with Uncharted 2, Brotherhood and more recently Killzone 3

However, it will be VERY hard to resist reading about the mighty quadrilogy of Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3, Gears of War 3 and probably Assassin's Creed III, so good luck to me!
