Oh how I missed those comments from Sony Executives about their competitors.

They have been relatively quiet for some time when it comes to unreflected and borderlinish analyses.

but when nintendo or microsoft make remarks like that, it's nothing to be dramatic about..

People don't go off when Nintendo or Microsoft bashes Sony because they never do. When was the last time one of them deliberately bashed somthing Sony was doing? There was Nintendo with the "3D without glasses" thing, but that wasn't as insulting as continually calling the competition's products gimmicky.Another reason that people go off on Sony is because they have been bashing them all gen, and getting their asses kicked in sales.

Isn't this the guy who said he'll pay anyone 25k if they found an unsold PS3 back at launch?

No self respecting CEO [entertainment] would say something like about about other gamers just because they dont buy his products.

It isn't fading away, it's the same as the other consoles. So, surely what he's saying is that his console was never relevant in the first place???

That's what it sounds like to me.

You're a wee bit off...$1,200.

I don't know what is more entertaining - the Executives saying stupid things or the console fanboy reactions on the internet when the executives say these stupid things.

Personally, I never take anything these executives say too seriously.  I care more about what the companies do in terms of gaming then what their PR people say.  Call me weird.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

Ahh thanks.

I would actually argue the opposite. Anyone in their 20s who would not play a DS on a plane or a train, in fact does not have any self-respect, self-confidence or maturity. If you have those things, you couldn't care less what people think of you for playing a video game system.

I think we should all email Jack pics of ourselves playing our DSs in public, with our ages.

I honestly can't remember a time in recent history when any of the big 3 made a stupid comment like this.
