Not sure if I should get hyped over a sonic game... BUT THIS TRAILER LOOKS AMAZING
If they don't include one of the terrible theme songs comprised of faux-punk music that the last billion games had, I may get this. Last one I rented was Sonic and the Black Knight which was okay, but nothing to really write home about.
I find the following puzzling...
- There is still demand for a sonic a game
- Sega continues to flog a dead horse
- No Wii version
What a conundrum.
I really hope that SEGA finally makes a great Sonic game, I was hoping for one for a long time.
Maybe it will be a game were Sonic travels in time like some of you said, since they showed some old textures from the old 16-Bit Sonic games.
I like the old Sonic model! Also no more generic punk - techno music please, make some catchy fun rock tunes that make you want to play the game more. I'm sick of games having generic music
Back in the old days you could just listen to the music and recognise from which game it was, developers need to put more emphasis on music.
Excuse me now, grandpa needs to take some rest and drink my 13th pill for the day.

We don't know what this will be. I'd be surprised if its a major release. Could be just a XBLA/PSN release.
Also, the Wii has already been molested with a bunch of mediocre Sonic games over the years. Let the HD twins get in on some that action.

Since nothing's official, I'll assume it can still come to the Wii. If it doesn't, I will have to question whther or not the people at Sega have any clue what they are doing. The Wii has proven to be the best console for Sonic, throwing that away is idiotic.

This is kind of what I'm thinking. I believe that they're marketing it for the PS3 and 360 because they know that it will sell well on the Wii.
