taken from Destructoid:
"Electronic Arts had a Wii port of Dead Space 2 game planned, along with a follow up to the utterly awful The Simpsons Game. Both titles have been scrapped in favor of other projects. I'm no analyst, but I'm willing to bet that nothing of value was lost.
The news comes via the LinkedIn profiles of EA designer Gerry Sakkas and freelance developer Matt Spriggens, who list the cancelled games among their work.
Seriously, is anybody upset over this? Show of hands, please.

Personally I find this quite surprising... even though the game was canceled, the fact that it was being made to begin with shows that someone at EA was listening to complaints by fans (such as the ones on this forum) about lack of support and missed opportunities on Wii.
If you add that to the fact there was also an additional simpsons game being made (previous one is considered not half bad, and nearly a million seller on Wii atm), plus previous efforts we know about from EA like the Brutal Legend port (which I think died with the dev - factor 5), and the fact NBA JAM was originally exclusive (we all know by now that the reason that affair turned so ugly had more to do with NBA Live being canned than hate for Nintendo) then it makes me wonder if in some alternate time-line, perhaps with a bit more financial stability, EA wasn't secretly plotting against Nintendo for no rational reason what so ever.
Kind of puts a new spin on that whole "third party conspiracy theory", doesn't it?
Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!
