Forums - Nintendo - NY Times disses Mario Galaxy.

If I'm looking for ambition, much in the same way the NY Times is looking for ambition, I want to see totally new letters and symbols that have never before been conceived. I don't care if they don't exist on the ASCII grid; anything less could only be classified as unambitious.

Hates Nomura.

I don't think the author played any of the video games he wrote about. He may have watched an online trailer or two. Maybe.

I would LOVE to acually watch him play a video game.

I bet he doesnt even know how to turn the damn thing on.

I think im the only one on this board that agrees with them. Lets face mario has never been about about story and that what the article was about. Its not like they didnt "dis" halo 3 as well.

I'm with you and maybe even more against SMG.  I loved SMB 1 &3 and SMW, i liked Mario 64, sunshine not so much, Yoshi's Story was different but good, And now comes along SMG, and IMO it is one of the worst Mario games.  I hate it.  It is the only game i regret buying and i own Red Steel. ;)
