Wouldn't this be all from removing Other OS? Since realistically that is when the chain of events really went crazy. Honestly if they kept that dumb feature, majority of this wouldn't happen exactly as it did. Given I don't really mind the entertainment value of all this. On one side you got the people who think sony does no evil and on other side you got sony is evil. 

And finally someone like me, who just watches and is amazed by both sides....

I have been somewhat sympathetic towards Anon, mostly because I truely don't believe Sony had any right to go after and sue Geo Hotz, but this is for sure taking it too far.  And it is true, and I don't know if you guys have checked lately but PSN is freaking out.

Best advice is stay off PSN or hidden for a week, everything will be back in order later.

Maybe that is the whole issue here that you guys seem to forget. This is not about sony protecting the PSN as they are not going after anybody that has hacked the PSN. Geohot never did. This is about wether you own the property you buy. I do not even think PSN is mentioned in the lawsuit. So for how bad sony wants to portect the PSN you would think they would go after those that hack it.

There were a few of us who said stuff like this would happen back when they removed Other OS. Not necessarily that Anon specifically would take matters in their own hands, but that someone or some group probably would.

It's kind of funny though to see just how many people have no idea how Anon works though. Silly people.

This is essentially what pissed anon off right here, I don't agree with attacking individuals or their families but for the most part their actions are justified:

Anonymous is against violence or threatening/attacking people. He says nothing illegal is being done, and news sites are reporting the information wrong.

Hopefully he is correct and Sony Recon will back down.

Ya know I didnt really have a opinion of them one way or another, but I think I just got one. Even if they do nothing bad with any information they might get targeting them in the first place is ..........
