So many things wrong. No Ocarina? They did give an explanation of why it wasn't there in the Twilight Princess entry, but they said it has aged poorly. I completely disagree. I think it's aged beautifully, and it still holds up today. Also no:

-Metroid Prime

-FF VII

-SMB 1

-Zelda 1

Having Portal #1......no. Fun game, but too short, and not much reason to replay over again. There's also just a ton of other games that should not be there. The only thing I'm happy about is Wind Waker being their #1 Zelda game, as it's mine too.

Strange list, most of the franchises are not allow several title but certain can? BS

The idea of ranking the games about, how they look today is also plain stupid. Certain games are not that graphically now but their depth and gameplay powned many of today's game.

Anyway it's their choices and list, but i don't agree with the "rules" they set for it and the result.



But we must first concentrate ourselves on the way to entertain people, for video games to live. Else, it's a world where sales representative will win, which has as effect to kill creativity. I want to say to the creators all around the world:"Courage, Dare!". Shigeru Miyamoto.

A 3DS title is at 13!

Overall some oddities are in there, I wouldn't say Portal is the best game of all time, not by a long shot but it should rank up there with the best for certain.

the orange box is not a game. It's a bunch games sold in an orange box. It was a great value if you didn't already own some of the games and like valve gah.

Yeah, some games are WAAAAAAAAAYYYY tooo high (*cough* Wind waker, smb 3 and smg *cough*).

Otherwise a better list than most top lists.

I've seen MUCH worse lists.

 

Earthbound so low seems odd though...along with no FF4.  Given their creiteria for judging RPGs.  I can only imagine they were afraid of SNES making all other RPG libraries look like crap.  (Which, the snes kinda does.)

and whenever I see FF Tactics on a list... I wonder if anyone who made the list played it's far superior predecessor.

Wow, somebody thinks that GTA IV is a great game. That's a rare breed here on VGC.

Yeah, I've noticed that also. It is quite saddening to see people not appreciating such gems.

That's my biggest issue as well.

They say they can't have on both Twilight Princess and Ocarina Of Time, Galaxya nd Galaxy 2 because they're too alike, and that's OK. But they then go and put Half Life AND Half Life 2 on the list!!!

Screams of bias to me
