Don't be too harsh on leo-j. Even when he is a Sony fanboy he was giving his honest opinion. Also, everything what he said was to be expected.

On the TV note, I've seen that the TV on all the booths (360 and PS3, I haven't seen Wii ones) aren't setup properly. That might be the issue.

I'll say. I haven't seen a working PS3 display in months. Considering PS3's are supposed to have low failure rates i don'tunderstand it. Well the best buy by me had a working PS3 (Only place out of 7-8) but it's controller was broken so it kept pushing to the left even when in an upright position.

Hmm... I remember that learning curve at the beginning, then it got better.

@kasc

What do you expect? There are fanboys that break controllers I personally saw some guy breaking the ps3 dual shock in best buy one day and trying to pop the analog out of its place. Then started laughing and ran away.

Thats why I hate fanboys.

Hmmm, must be the holiday spirits seeping into Leo.

Spiked eggnog is my guess.

To recipricate, I think all Nintendo fanboys should urge John Lucas to make a *positive outlandish* prediction about Sony.

Something along the lines of "There will be a PS4". (Just j/k, Leo)

Seriously, Leo did want most should do, but many fail to do. Namely, to try something different with an open-mind. He listed what he liked and didn't like. And did it with the best game that Nintendo offers versus using the worse.

The next step in maturity is to realize that your tastes are not better than others, just different. And to understand how games like Nintendogs, Brain Training appeal to others, even if they don't appeal to you.

Torturing the numbers.  Hear them scream.

That was the first one i even saw running, the rest just had blacked out screens. Though that's not about console fanboyism. Just about being a dick. Some people just find it funny to destroy stuff.

Especially if their parents won't get it for them for Christmas, or they can't afford it.

Currently Playing:

PS4 - Killzone:SF and Assasins Creed 4

XBox One: BF4, CoD:Ghosts, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5

Changing channels with my voice: priceless!!!

Off topic: Demo booth's controllers get f*cked up because of intense use most of the time, like in the case Kasz216. Most of the PS booths here have their analog sticks all loose and with the rubber peeled off.

HD TV's most be bigger than 36" for seeing any diffrence have I Heard and the real diffrence starts on 40"

Think twice before helping a friend in need.

I went to best buy and saw a working demo for the first time since the Wii was released.

It was a really weird setup, and the controller was only working for the first day I saw it, when I went back the next day, the Nunchuck had somehow gotten disconnected, even though everything was plugged in. Also, the A button was somehow really hard to press, what the hell do people do to that thing anyway?

I have to admit, even as a Nintendo fan, I found what I played of the game to feel very frustrating. almost every level I went to, the camera was locked, and sometimes I'd end up running in spirals when I was at a bad angle. The low amount of health also made things irritating.

Still, I had fun, which I have really only been able to say about Nintendo games. Even if I'm not totally satisfied with a Nintendo game, I usually still can have fun on it. Can't say the same about other companies. Either the game is perfectly done, or I just can't bring myself to play it.

Heck, I played Thief recently on Gametap, and beat it in roughly a week. I tried playing it again, and after half an hour I just stopped. I thought it was wonderful the first time though, but just totally lost all replay value for me.

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!

Currently wrapped up in: Half Life, Portal, and User Created Source Mods
Games I want: (Wii)Mario Kart, Okami, Bully, Conduit,  No More Heroes 2 (GC) Eternal Darkness, Killer7, (PS2) Ico, God of War1&2, Legacy of Kain: SR2&Defiance

My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.

If you liked the game or not is certainly not what I took exception to. That is your opinion. What I can't understand, is how you could say that Mario was Pixelated. It looked smooth as silk to me. As far as the brightness goes, I love that about the game. All these dark games are getting very repetitive. Of couse this is also just an opinion.
