PSP had a wave of games in the last weeks and FF-bundles this week in Japan --> very good sales this week, but it will be one of the last waves for the PSP. It will be the one only going down in sales, like it already did in US and Europe.

About 3DS, it's far from a failure 4sure and we have no idea about the shipments in Japan.

I think Ninty will give a statement about 3DS shipments and Fukushima etc.

IMHO this thread is nothing less than just trolling.

I think the NGP will do a lot better than everyone expects. The 3DS is a DS in 3D. Big deal. Another gimmick from the gimmick kings. The NGP offers a lot in terms of harware like 3G access and Wi-fi etc and will come to market with a lot of software. 

Then whose expectations shall we use as a yardstick?  Once we disregard the projections of the people who are in the best position to gauge the success or failure of their own product, we enter the land of wishful thinking, where 2006-2009 PS3 sales were stellar, and the Virtual Boy was an unqualified commercial success.  You propose substituting the intimate knowledge of the platform creator with the ignorant guesses of the individual.  No real analyst would ever do such a thing!

The hardware power or features won't matter just like the 3D "gimmick" won't.. It'll be all about the games.

The funny part is that people are actually falling for it, I mean seriously.
