Does it matter?
It proves that XBL is not restricting it, and it's all the developers decision as to whether or not include dedicated servers.
fyi: Frontlines wasn't on the PS3

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

Faster conncection times.
More stability in online matches.
More exclusive downloadable titles.
Many times early access to DLC add ons
Better Sense of Community.
Easier to navigate and find what your looking for.
And I could go on. If you would like me to list more I gladly will. I'm a Plus member even on PSN look at my sig, and I'm not knocking PSN at all. For a free service its great. Its just not as good as Live is.

Yeah, it was only for the phat PS2, though. Once the slim came out, they left out the port where you placed the HDD. I had the network adapter (came attached to a used PS2 that I got....illegally. I didn't steal it, though!). Never had a slim PS2 but over the years, I had three phats. There was a little bit of an uproar when the new design came out because you had to have the HDD to play Final Fantasy XI on the PS2 and the new slim PS2 didn't support it. I'm a fountain of video game trivia! |
i got my ps2 christmas 2001 (if that is one year after the american release, i know i got it one year later).
and still have the same one. i guess im lucky, huh

im sorry but a lot of what you said is blatently false.
connection time has nothing to do with psn or xbl, it has to do with ur internet speed and if your hard wired or wifi.
what online matches are more stable on xbl, almost all multiplats have the exact same connect (most are P2P, which uses your own connection, so nothing to do with psn or xbl) and we have already discussed that psn has more dedicated server games.
pretty much the only early access to DLC xbl gets is call of duty, so that point is mute not to mention that has nothing to do with xbl.
better sense of community. a rather ambiguous statement, but i will not argue this one.
very much a matter of opinion. if youre talking about the main menu though, i much much much prefer the xmb (but menus are the online services)
really dont see the big deal. there is even ads on the dashboard, so i dont really see why they charge 60 dollars a year. just imagine all the income they get. if i can make an extra 100 dollars a month for putting up an ad up on my youtube channel just imagine how much money microsoft makes on their dashboard. dont tell me its only for DLC and exclusive map packs for games that is already exclusive. i just dont see why they charge for something that should be free. This is why I like psn. I just like free stuff anyways lol

If all you want to do is play your game online, you can't go wrong with the PSN. In fact, it would probably be hard to sell the XBL to someone that didn't care about the online community, the other features, and options. Being free is a HUGE advantage for the PSN.
