Ok so the deal is I just got Uncharted 2 from gamestop but they didn't have the first Uncharted. I don't think I will be able to get Uncharted 1 anytime in the near future, and I really want to play Uncharted 2.

So my question is will I miss anything importent if I just go ahead and play Uncharted 2?

no, you don't really.

But they're close to the same quality Imo (I'm not that big a fan of them). And they're short. So I'd play the first one anyways unless you really can't find it. To get the most out of 2.

You could probably order Uncharted 1 internet... but if you really can't get 2. Then it's not a big deal.

You might miss out on the connection between a copule of characters that you hung around with in the last game, but overall it should be fine. Uncharted 2 has it's own seperate plot and they explain everything pretty well.

But Drake's Fortune is so good! I think you won't have a hard time understanding Uncharted 2 if you don't play the first game but in it's own Drake's Fortune is worth playing!

No, you don't the story lines of the two games are totally different and there are only a few references to the first game in the second one.

i would say play uncharted 1 first, even though u dont miss anything important. i still think u will enjoy uncharted 2, even more though if u play the 1st game though.
