Forums - PC - I need some help.

I have three questions and I hope someone will help me by giving me good answers.

1. How can I turn off the 3d. I want to see my brother playing but I can't because of the 3d.

2. I bought a controller (Logitech F710) thinking that it would be easy to play games using it but it isn't! Then I bought Xbox 360 controller for Windows. I tried to play Team Fortress 2. I can choose the team using the controller but when I start the game it will stop working. Is there an easy way to play games using these controllers or do I have to use programs like ControlMK?

3. I buy my games from steam. I love it. But I have a problem. If I want to download any thing using rapidshare or mediafire or any other site. My download speed is ~500kb/s. When I download the game from steam it's only ~75kb/s! Is there anything I can do to improve it?

Thank you.

Around the Network

A 360 controller works flawlessly with every "Games For Windows" PC game.

Otherwise it will depend from game to game.

I know people have trouble with Team Fortress 2, but AFAIK it will work. Google it or go to directly to theValve forums. I think I've seen 360 controller configs in there. Might even be included in the FAQs.

As for the first question you need to give more details. What game ?

1. I found it in Valve forums.

2. Evrey game. I played Counter Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I went to the setting and found nothing about "3d".

Well, regarding your second question, I don't think every PC game supports a controller.

3. Try going to settings->Downloads Cloud and see if you've chosen the correct region and connection speed.

Thanks. I did it and it improved a little. Now, it's ~150kb/s. Still, it should be ~500kb/s. Is there anything else I can do?

What kind of 3D ? Nvidia 3D vision ?

If so there should be an option in the nvidia control panel to disable it or on the IR transmitter itself.
I've only tried it on a notebook in a store around christmas so I can't really remember everything.

Again this shouldn't be too hard to find with google.
