that's like adding ps2 numbers to the ps3. 3DS is not part of the DS line up. It's a new console.

prior to the 3DS launch i had expressed conserns that the mainstream consumer had already lost interest in 3D -- with or without glasses.

now mind you, i really had western consumers in mind when i thought that but the 3DS numbers in japan are not giving me much confidence in the future of 3D (from nintendo or otherwise).

like i said, desperation imho. and those times were for Sony fans in regards to sales I guess. How things change

3d is a solitary thing do you think,in gaming anyway

still we need to wait for mario

i'm not into the 3d hype personally in games or movies

I will go with price being way too high since that is the reason I won't buy it now.

Could it be that even though Ninty markets it as a new system, people still see it as simply a DS redesign instead of a new console?  Maybe they are seeing it like the XL, just another version of the DS and are less excited?  Im  talking fan perception ,mind you, I understand the 3DS is stronger and stuff.
