Forums - Sony - Meruru's Sriyu Rumored to beAkesaka Satomi

I'm not totally sure of the source for this, but it seems that the voice actress for Atelier Meruru's main character Meruru may be Satomi Akesaka. Some of the Japanese language blogs have pics from a magazine (possibly this month's Gemaga?) showing Akesaka listed as the voice actress.

Translation Note: Seiyuu is a term for voice actress. He just mispelled it in the thread title. Not sure why he'd even bother using the Japanese term in a English sentence though.

I don't care too much as I usually play my games dubbed. I haven't run into to many situations where I switch to Japanese in games (anime is a different story).

I'm almost positive it has two 'u's in it.

No offense, but I'd trust ANN over Wikipedia.

Also seiyū =/= seiyu.

And if you're wanting a Japanese source, then surely you'd accept Danny Choo.

EDIT: This is getting way off topic though, I'd recommend further discussion (if you still think I'm wrong) via PM or my wall.

seiyu has an "-" on top of u which indicates longer u which can be written as yuu in this case.

that second character's (in seiyuu) "on" reading is u or yuu (long u), so seiyuu is an acurate way to romanji-nize it
