the only new charcter I don't like(well fighting wise) is Laguna(well atm) his attack are always easy to dodge, the only good hp attack is his ragnarok buster(currently at lvl 32) but he does have some good bravery attacks.(but I always get a laugh when he first encounters the cloud of darkness)

Tifa is the best new added chacter imo, she learns so many moves and fast, it's almost hard to keep up(currently at lvl 39)

Yuna is actually pretty good, she plays well above my expectations(lvl 33)

Kain is another  favorite of mine,though his starting was a little hard since jump was a pretty easy move to doge.(lvl 22)

Lighting is the 2nd best newly added character, has a very diverse set of moves both long and close bravery/hp attacks(lvl 34)

Vaan is pretty decent as well, also learns alot of moves early and fast(lvl33)

Kain is badass.

load times sucks tho. 15-20 sec load times even with install with the most amount. still awesome game tho

I also didn't like Yuna at first; her bravery attacks kind of sucked, and her HP attack can be easily dodged. But once I unlocked a few moves, I started to like her. Same with Laguna.

As for the story, it's practically non-existant and doesn't further develop/explore the stories and characters. **SMALL SPOILER ALERT** Like for Yuna, I thought it was interesting that Tidus didn't know about Yuna or any of the pilgrimage. It had a lot of potential. Instead, the story for Yuna was: small talk with Jecht, fight, fight, fight, small talk with Zidane, fight, fight, and then you finally had the two of them together (but he got knock out). If there's more story with Yuna, I hope they further explore why Tidus doesn't remember anything.

Best thing about Yuna as a fighter is that there is no-one else like her...with everyone else there is at least one other character who is kind of similar. (except Laguna too)

A gunner Yuna would be like a mix between Lightning and Laguna...yeah that sounds like a good combination but uniqueness will go away, thats probably why she wasn't added.

As you unlock more attacks for LAguna he gets much better.

And with Kain the best way to use jump is to use it to dodge an enemy's attacks (yup you can use jump to dodge attacks) as that basically results in jump hitting the enemy 9/10 times.

Kuja is like my arch enemy on this game so far. I SUCK with him. I can't use him at all but the computer can completely obliterate me with him.

I bought Kuja using pp for the reports thing...but levelling him up is a pain as I suck with him!

I haven't played much yet (just got it today), but the graphics look the same from the last game (might be due to the PSP hitting it's limit).

The battle system is fun, with more this time.

I don't like Laguna (or whatever his name is) didn't like him in VIII, don't like him here.

Lightning? Yeah it's still her....moving on.

Yuna. Love to see her as X Yuna and not that....thing she turned into in X-2.

Kain, haven't messed with him yet, but looking good.

I've set the battles to strong, and I find them way more fun than the other setting I had it on: very challenging, lots of tension, etc. Then again, I like difficulty. Anyways, I'm to put Dissidia on hold for the The 3rd Birthday (imageshack.us/imggot it today). Hopefully I can finish the game by Saturday, so I can give write some proper impressions on it.

It's been a great year for the PSP so far, and next month, we get Final Fantasy IV.

Yuna is definitely my favorite addition in the game so far. Her moves are just ridiculous.
