I've been hearing from a lot of PC enthusiasts that the PC version feels like a console port.

One difference which does bear pointing out is that while we used the same screen for the the PC and Xbox 360 version of the game, the two hardware platforms delivered images to the screen a very different manner. The PC ran Crysis 2 at 2,560 x 1,600 – the native resolution of the 30in Dell 3007WFP screen we were using – while the Xbox 360 upscales from a resolution below 720p (1,440 x 720). This heavily affects the image quality, obviously.
I wondered why the 360 version pictures were at 2560 at 1600.... now I know and now I don't care about this comparison anymore...

Yeah really! How many PC gamers play at 2560x1600 res lol? Maybe 0.1%!

And how many PC players play in 1152x720? 1280x1024 is the minimum for a 5 year old pc monitor. Eurogamer has a full analysis up with 720p and 1080p comparison pictures.

Conclusion not a lot extra done for pc. All effects run at a higher precision, more lights and the water uses real vertices so the waves curve around objects more realistically. But only DX9 support and same textures as on consoles.
Bonus is though that it will play in 60fps 1680x1050 without any popup or other compromisis on moderate hardware.
I play on a 720p monitor. Honestly I can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p or I would play at 1080p.
Boy, that's a great comparison. The 360 image is stretched, blurry, and the colors are off.

Idk sometimes i think a gaming pc is only worth it if you want better graphics. I'd prefer a good art style, with smooth framerate.(more importantly)
Maybe, i dont know much, but it looks like PC was held back by consoles.
e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)
