GT5 up 400k on GT4. If it continues on a 15-20k weekly status, it should still be able to stay ahead of it through holiday 2011 (where I think that will be the determing factor as to whether or not it can clear it lifetime). I'm not holiding my breath on it, but rather feel GT5 can settle between 10 & 10.5mill.

It definitely will. It only need 420k up until the start of December to do that. That's not its main problem, though, but that GT4 is hugely outlegging it.
GT5's first week ending 25th March - its 20th week - it sold 20,840 units.
GT4's second year week ending 25th March - its 57th week - it sold 44,860 units
GT4's third year week ending 25th March - its 109th week - it sold somewhere around 25,000 units (from week 107-113 it averaged 25k)
In GT4's 109th week, it sold more than GT5 did in its 20th. That really doesn't bode too well for GT5.
So GT5 is going to be (roughly) tied with GT4 by the end of this year, and from there on in I just don't see GT5 managing anywhere close to GT4's sales.
On a completely different note, Mario Kart Wii's sales are horrible. It's down nearly 50% on last year. At this rate, it might not make 35 million. It's being outsold by New Super Mario Bros. DS!
It's going to be interesting to see whether New Super Mario Bros. Wii can outsell New Super Mario Bros. DS, too. They're both going to end up around 30 million, both most likely a bit above it.
