It depends. I like it but it isn't as good as the console versions IMO. 

However, everything is in it, all the characters and stages to my knowledge, and street pass mode is a nice feature. The 3D isn't really pronounced due to it being a 2D figther, but the over-the-shoulder view is amazing, the scenery really backs into the distance and, in some cases, it looks as though things are flying out of the screen!

At any rate, I'm writing up a FULL review for the 3DS, and  afew games ATM, so check it out there. If you must know, though, it's not quite as good as the PS360 versions, but the portability and street pass make up for a few shortcomings

why charge first?  isn't it the rule with electronics to always use it first until it dies and then fully charge it.

not sure why that is, figured it was so that it knows when it dies, like driving a car to empty so that you knowwh en you HAVE to fill up. 

I just have to say...wow. 3DS is fucking amazing, how could I played so long without 3D effect on a portable?? Way to go Nintendo!

The 3D effect is fantastic. I'm having a hard time believing that you need a sweet spot at all, :D.

The problem is, though, I didn't buy any games, :O. I have got to get Nintendogs (never mind the Cats), if only to see my puppy licking the screen in 3D. The AR games are a whole lotta fun, though.

The 3D is great - but I'm not sure I agree about the sweet spot. Perhaps (and I hope) it's probably Ridge Racer, but there seemed to be a small angle which was bang on, moving it slightly brought about slight blurring and image clash.

The 3D in the menus, though, seems to have a larger sweet spot, so it may be RR. Has anyone else got it?

Yah me too, I was going to try it out early but noticed Nintendo Canada wasn't demoing the console in my city. I'd have to drive an hour into Vancouver to get some hands on play. So I'm stuck waiting till Sunday too, still figuring out what games to buy I think I'll be buying Rayman and Ghost:Recon!
