The last time I actually genuinely cried at a real life incident was probably last October-ish when my dog got put down. Because I was at uni, I only ever found out stuff via the phone, which pretty much killed me. It was the Monday when I found out she was really ill, and the Friday she was put down... I basically locked myself in my room for the week. The vets had said that they'd never seen an animals health deteriorate as quickly as hers did, so we let them do an autopsy to help improve understanding. Basically, it turns out that she had three tumours: one behind the eye (causing damage to her vision), and then one in her urethra (which ultimately meant that she lost control of her bladder - this had been going on a while, and she was on treatment for a kidney effection, which, obviously she never had) and one in her uterus. I was very sad at the time, but I'm over it now... I think of her very fondly... and she still causes mischief from beyond the grave: my dad picked up an old chair the other day, and she used to have a thing about chewing its legs, and it gave him a splinter. |
See, this is one of the reasons I don't own pets: I'm afraid their ghosts will haunt me from the grave. The other one is that I'm afraid they'll eat me.
(Oh, BTW, did you get a text message telling you that your dog was dying? How high tech... and cold)

Haha, no, you see, most modern day text-messaging devices also come with this weird additional functionality of voice calling. Scary shit, I know.

Oh my, what's next? Some sort of things you put in your ears that also have a thingy in which you can speak so you don't have to directly talk in these devices? What's the world coming to?!

Mine's embarrassing. Any time I watch Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey I cry at the end. I could blame this on my wife, because she starts crying first. But the fact is that I would cry anyway.

I haven't cried from genuine sadness in a long time. I guess it shows how good I have it and how appreciative I need to be.
I've cried from stress a couple times recently.....
I am a fairly emotional for a male. But the funniest time I have ever cried was during Toy Story 3.
I grew up as a child watching Toy Story 1 2. I loved those two movies to death. I used to always watch the first one and when the second one came out I went to see it in theaters. Then when the third one was announced I decided I was going to see it day one in theaters. Now being 22 I am a fully grown adult and I watched Andy giving his toys away and moving on into adulthood (Going to college) and for some reason I started crying alittle.
It was like a sudden realization that I am an adult now I will never be a kid again. I dunno I just couldn't help but get alittle emotional. Then again this wasn't that water works it was just one or two tears but I thought it was sort of weird that Toy Story got me that way.

You're not the only one. If that movie doesn't get to you you must have no heart.
