the reason there are so many ps3's on shelf is because sony is stuffing the warhouses with thouasnds of ps3's in order to ship/sell 11M by end of fiscal year.

My local Meijer's was sold out of ps3's & Wii's today...it had a few 360's left & 2 DS's.

Yea your right.. even though it outsold the wii this week.

Since I am home for C-mas and have nothing to do I am gonna go Looking around, closer to Orlando we have A Mall(Gamestop, Sears, Radioshack, KBtoys), Toys R US, Best Buy, Circuit City all in the same shopping area, then about 5 min away is a HUGE Wal- Mart and another Gamestop, then On the way home(5 min from my house) there is A Super Target, and Bestbuy(the ones I was reffering to today) I am gonna do a major sample, gonna take some notes. The Target and Best Buy are WAY Upper Middle class (the area have several Neiborhoods that every house cost over 1 million, and about 15 hoods where the average house cost over 500k, all of the are Gated communities. The Bigger shopping area is closer to the city but still outside it, I beleive it will have a good sample of what "normal" people buy.

A good example of not normal is the mom I helped today. For 2 kids she might be buying as many as 5 games, a zapper and a few remote for when there friends come over....

How come J-leo is never banned, he always trolls, always...

Of course the PS3 outsold the Wii in US... there were NO Wii's... You can consider it a victory when PS3 actually outsells PS2

Hey can one of you guys phone around to some Gamestops and see if they sold out of their rainchecks? I live in Canada and don't want to call long distance. Maybe tokilamockingbrd could do it. Your a bit of a sleuth.

I believe they are, I talked to the Gamespot worker on the 20th and he told me to be there early(I was never planning on getting I just wanted the info) he said they were only getting a few and that a ton of people would be there..

and the more I think about it, I was for the 21st only... even if they did not sell out you could not get one.
