It seems like it seece.. I haven't seen the new user thread.

2008 was like the changing of the guard. Us noobs came... most came to troll, then learned how to stealth troll to get around the system. We brought a new element and personality to VGChartz. We learned how to coexist with the legends of the past and become relevant in the VGChartz ecosystem.

2009 was attack of the gaymers. The gaymers came out and took over the forums. The forums on VGChartz became more personal and more sexual. There wasn't a topic that people were not affraid to talk about.

2010 VGChartz hit a culture shock. The site disconnected the forums from everything else. Even though the look was brought back, the edge was no longer there or the feeling of belonging.

The OGs get promoted to staff and then seem to disappear. u__u

The pay for more data further makes people feel separated.

Lets hope people can find meaning in VGChartz once again and can find a reason to interact in the forums.

OT - i didn't vote.  couldn't find the "been around for years but wasn't ever relevant" option.

...but i hear ya pbroy -- seems like a lot of people never came back after 3.0.  :(

I've been stealth trollin' since 07... recently celebrated my 4th VGC birthday. I had cake. I didn't invite anybody, though.

Also, I didn't have cake.

He's a legend I remember the time he got ioi to buy $300 worth of handbags and bikinis, haha truly epic, good to see him still around I'm going to have to look him up, for old time sake.
