I felt like I was actually Mario.  Way more immersive than the original.

Well, if your into the whole gangster thing. Even then only those that have played the cartoon type ones would even get most of the litte jokes. Plus, its not like there isnt already 23423423423423423423423425346535465454234234234234234234 shooting games this gen.
