Forums - Nintendo - When will we see a 3DS pillar?

The 3DS was launched weeks ago, and I've been checking the front page regularly since then, but there is no pillar.

Since 3DS sales data already is out, why is there no pillar?

Aslo, this is just a side question, but I thought a launch of a new system would be more exciting than this. I thought the site would be flooding with 3DS news for weeks/months after the launch, but it's close to radio silence.

Not for a long time.

It'll be just a flat rectangle when you will first see.

I totally agree with you about the news about the 3ds. I assumed more people would be talking about it but noone really is.

Yeah, suprised there hasnt been much news. You'd swear they had an earthquake and then a Tsunami! Not that that happened or anything... Should definitely be talking about 3DS. Yep.

Guitar Hero 3/ Smash Hits

Well I think we will get that flood once the American and European Releases come about.

We don't need a pillar at the moment. If there's nothing you can compare it to, then a pillar really doesn't make sense.

Even though 3DS is starting a new generation, we have the current hardware to compare it with.

Well I expect there'll be FAR more buzz once the thing actually releases outside of Japan.

Exactly.

And having a pillar would be like an official way of saying that it's out.
