PS3 continues to widen the year to date gap with the other consoles. If it continues like this it could build up enough of a lead that it wouldn't matter if it loses the holidays, especially if Sony cuts price first and the others don't immediately react. I wonder what the tipping point is. 1.5 million? 2 million?

Actually there's an excellent reason to not buying one now: waiting for DSi XL to drop to $100 or below. 3DS can wait for everybody that isn't a big portable fan, while DS library is more awesome now than ever before.
