Given knowledge of this, as well as the Metroid themed stage, and the fact that it's been upgraded to a USA Launch title, i've been quite drawn to Dead Or Alive Dimensions. However, i have my preorder on Pilotwings Resort.
Neither game has me 100% excited, however. Pilotwings looks greatly fun, but my fear is that it won't have enough meat, though that same fear holds true for Dimensions. Both franchises are new to me, and i'm trying to figure out which one would be more interesting and which one will last me longer
Again, a lot of this has to do with DoA's, "aesthetic" appeal, but i've picked games for stupider reasons in the past and prospered.
So i want to hear from people who have played both franchises to explain their specific appeal, or people who have played at least one of the two, to explain the learning curve on DoA or the mission appeal of Pilotwings (or could someone link me to some reviews of Resort?)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

if not then Pilot Wings cause thats one of the next on my list.
