About DC... I dont know. I can see MS just wanting to keep their hands on Dead Rising instead of Dino Crisis. Especially considering Dino Crisis 3 was a major flop.

Makes sense, it was an established PS3 franchise. 2. DMC japan numbers will obviously favour the PS3, but so will Europe's numbers so even if Japans numbers arent that high I cant see NA saving the 360 that much. 1. Established PS3 franchise? Since when? 2. Japan yes, Europe...not too sure. NA I don't think it'll matter MUCH, but 360 will edge out a little. I think it was obvious it was a typo, thats why I edited it. My bad? Well, so what if it's an established PS2 franchise? FF was an established NES/SNES franchise, same with MGS, and DQ (although it's coming back...), and SO, and SF, etc. but they all moved to Sony. Now recently Fatal Frame and MH have moved from Sony to Nintendo. Established or not, it can move. In fact, I think it'd do better on Nintendo systems. The demographic fits after all. Plus the Disney characters will appeal to the younger kids (KH appeals MORE to the younger kids, after all).

 Well obviously it CAN move, im just saying it makes sense to transfer it over to the next console. Im pretty sure the gaming world was amazed when FF popped up on the new Sony console, so its more unlikely to see it moved ya know what I mean?

well i agree with you on basically every point.  the only thing i would argue on is the amount of gamers that this controversy affects.  this controversy has been limited mostly to internet forums and it is my opinion that a majority of gamers (those that don't frequent internet forums) will never hear about the game until just prior to release.  

I only compare it to zack and wiki because it also had a huge amount of internet hype and also received good reviews (86% game rankings) and still managed not to sell all that well.  KZ2 does have more hype, true, but it is the location of that hype that is limiting.  well anyways, that's my opinion and my justification for why i made a fairly low prediction.

my predictions:

#1 2008 WON'T BE A DECISIVE YEAR for the so calld "NEXT-GEN War" for at least 2 reason:

• prices are still too high for the mass market: things will get interesting for common people (and sales will become really massive) only when the price will go under 199$
• "old gen" market accounts for 140M units and till now less than 45M "next gen" consoles have been sold...there are at least 100M users (probably more if it's true that VG market is growing up year after year) that have still to jump on the "nxt gen" train.

#2: all 3 systems will increase their sales compared to 2007

#3: Year end Sales:

• Wii: 41M
• X360: 28M
• PS3: 22M

i personally am hoping it comes to the wii. i think it would make a lot of sense to put it there 'cause nintendo's philosophy is very family friendly. nintendo is kind of the disney of the video gaming world so i believe KH could do really well there. plus, KH3 is one game that isn't really enhanced by higher resolution since their characters are already so simplistic in design.

i don't really care if it's exclusive to the wii, i just hope wii gets the game. maybe they should port KH I and II to test the waters first, i'd be happy to see that. xD

Because people will just lose interest in it, just like in Japan, Wii was outsold by PS3.
