From the week ending November 4th 2007 to the week ending December 16th 2007, DS hardware sales have hit 7.3 million worldwide.  Lately, sales have been north of 1.5 million.  Sales next week could approach 2.0 million/week.  Afterwards, sales decline in the west, but pick up in Japan.  It looks as if 10.2/10.3 million for November and December worldwide.

What do you all think?

For comparison, it took PS3 and Xbox 360 ~ a year to hit 7.0 million sold from launch...

This is pretty intense. What is the fastest a PS2 sold 7 mill. Did they ever do it in 2 months? I doubt it.

What the hell are you talking about, dude? Have you the seen software sells in Japan? The hardcore have always bought the DS.

 These were just the early adopters.

the VGChart says that PS2 peaked at about 1.7 million units/week. DS did 1.6 million last week.

Next week should be interesting.

No, the Wii can't sell like the DS. The deman in Japan and Europ isn't strong enough.
