He doesn't deserve that much praise, it's become like a meme on this site and it's really annoying.  One must only look at who was being serious in that other thread and then look on any post they make in the future with doubt.

They should all be in the business, they all do good things.  You can see all 3 companys are doing good things, no need to take any of them away.  They've all kicked each other's asses in cycle.  MS got Sony on their toes and quickened their online expansion.  Sony beat the snot out of everyone for two consecutive generations and may have inadvertently set up Nintendo to change their game a bit.  And Nintendo is winning this gen pretty handily.  I'd say they've all learned from each other in one way or another.

A lot of the earlier ones got annoying but if they are done right (like this one) they can work. And I disagree with a MS one because Ms was attacked on the first one as well as Nintendo whoever said it -.-

eah these 3 companies seem to thrive off each other. Ms is the best to compete with them. Sony went crazy (in the gaming sector) because people wanted a viable option to nintendo (and it had a cd drive). Nintendo has seemingly always been attached to gaming and Ms... well ms has money and shit loads of it. 

What is amazing about Ms jumping Sony, is that Sony didn't expect it, no-one expected it. In terms of quality of consoles Xbox was a 3/10 <- In terms of future proofing etc etc 360 is closer to a 7-8 in comparison. That is a massive massive massive jump. As far as I am concerned even if Ms finishes 3rd this gen (I dont think it will happen) but if it does, It is still a success for Ms. Sonys success is they proved that people would buy their console no matter what (see their release price for evidence) And nintendo just showed they can surpise the hell out of people haha.

While I feel MS would have gotten bigger in gaming no matter what, I feel Sony's one big mistake (the opening price) reaaaally sped it along.  Sony was never going to be as dominant as the last two gens, Ninty had a new plan and MS...like you said, they have resources.  I still contend that if the PS3 had been a little cheaper, this whole race could have been pretty different, but MS would have been bigger regardless.  Aside from the price, I can't really peg Sony as doing much wrong or bad to their fans, which is why if they end up third....best third place console evar lol.   And I like that thing about people wanting another option to Ninty lol.  That's been filled quite well.

In the other thread all three companies got their fair share of obvious and backhanded insults, even in the two paragraphs you quoted to complain that only Nintendo and Microsoft get panned.

The other thread was a masterpiece, this one is nothing special.

Can i ask you something? What price would you launch the Ps3? and how more red would they be if it is a lower price point?  

I personally don't get how users can say ps3 should have started a lower price-point. That would be suicide.
