OT - I wonder how much hate WW got, I wasn't "around" to witness it (I didn't go to forums/browse lots of gaming site) - Which one is got fans more outraged initially??
This one sentence thread gets to the 7th page or 8th and one of my time consuming ones gets to the 4th.
I officially give up...

Wind Waker got a shit-ton of hate. I don't think Skyward Sword is getting very much outrage at all, and it's certainly a miniscule amount compared to Celda.

Basically, I'm strongly suggesting that you plunk $5 on the Virtual Console and pick up Zelda or Zelda II. Like, really strongly. Italicized and everything. |
These had puzzles too, so I agree with Soriku when he says he doesn't get your comment.
Both games had puzzles in the maps themselves. In which area you go to, lost areas, and especially the dungeons were a big puzzle.
Then in LoZ you had specific puzzles in certain rooms to open doors, such as pushing blocks, etc.
While the use of puzzles become more prevalent in later Zelda's, the entire series is built with puzzles as a primary component.
I'm VERY excited about the game! Mainly because it's essentially the first fully fleshed out motion plus game
^^^^ and they sure took forever to get around to it. really, motion came out how long ago??? i look forward to plugging it back in my controller and not using it as a paper weight. (i would argue that Tiger Woods and RS2 were fully fleshed out, but not really)

In Nintendo's case, their ideas in the leetime didn't mesh with Motion Plus, and DKCR, Galaxy 2, and NSMBWii at least came out quite well without it, though they could have forced it down somebody's throat
Who i'm downright mad at is LucasArts. I know Force Unleashed isn't really about saber-play, but they could have used that to make a compelling, separate Wii version. Or failing that should have made Lightsaber Duels 2. Why is the first Star Wars motion-tracked game on Kinect?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
