its because sony want to make sure that PSPGo stays as an ass, and this ass isn't done yet.

Funny... in Australia, the PSP go is the cheapest SKU at $250.00.... PSP3000 is around $270 rofl. What a rip, even with import cost, I'd save close to $100 if I get it in the US now.

You do realise a US dollar isn't the same as an Aus dollar right? It's worth a lot more

I was surprised too, believe me. Canada and Australia are making giant economic strides. The last time I bought from you guys, the AUD was worth FAR less. I think that since then ('06) it added a fifth to its value.

It use to be fixed at 1 to 1, then the AUD was floated and plummet to 1:2 status for a while against the US before slowly climbing back. We had a smashing year though and this is a GREAT time to import everything. Local supplier are straight ripping the public off with games and consoles. The PS3 here cost $460.00, a RRP new release cost $100.00 - $120.00.

I get my game as UK import which is essentially the same game with a Pegi rating (it shares region and all other compatibility issues) and the cost is around half if not more. My NGP will either come from the UK or US and unless I REALLY want a game right at launch, it simply doesn't make sense for me to purchase anything locally anymore.

True for 90% of my PS3 games, I import them all thanks to the weak pound.

Don't worry with USD printing machines working full speed 24/7 you will soon be getting several us dollars for 1 Australian ;)

On a sidenote Usd:Euro exchange rate reached 1,40:1 yesterday.

edit: I also import 90% of my console games from UK :)
