You stood there and counted over a hundred consoles?

But anyway, few days before Christmas who wouldn't want to snatch that up.

He probably used logical mathematic processing. For example if you see 10 even stacks of consoles are you going to count them all by hand? Or are you simply going to count how many are in the first stack then multiply by 10.

I have never seen a store just stack a pile of 100 consoles in a square, usually it has some sort of design. Or he just saw a bunch and made up a random number that sounded about right.

So what's the verdict? Any Wii shipments on Sunday?

The Best Buy by me didn't seem to have too many premiums either... like 3-4 vs a decent amount of the rest (20+) and like... 40+ Halo edition 360s.

Those are going to have to drop below the regular price before people buy them.

I was doing some late xmas shopping at the Eaton Centre in Toronto and saw a similar scene at my local BB.   3 huge stacks of the Halo 360s near the main entrance(been there for a few days now) and some premiums in the back.  Surprisingly though, there were also 2 stacks of GH3 for the 360 that seemed untouched.

 Walked around some more and saw a kiosk displaying some ps3s and Sony Bravias, decent crowd around it.  There was also a  Wii kiosk 1 floor down and parked a few stores down from the Sony store.  About 50 people watching other people play GH3/SMG/RRR2/Mario&Sonic/WiiSports/Xbow Training.

The Bestbuy by me had their 360's stacked in a big Square. Same with the PS3s. Well the PS3s were more of a rectangle do to the box being rectangular. But still. They were straight stacked aside from the few that were picked off.

100 of them? Or like 15 - 20?

@kazz,
you said bear, as in the animal.
I think you meant beer, I am very bad with spelling but it isn't usually funny like that.

̶3̶R̶D̶   2ND! Place has never been so sweet.

I would assume that there will be Wii shipments on Sunday, but not like last week. Maybe a "normal" sunday shipment like 200k... but that is a gut feeling

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

Its funny that just from the topic title I knew this was about Wii's supply without knowing it was on the Nintendo forum.
