Hello I'm a video game analist and I'm here to tell you about the videogame market.
I'v being reading through this Vgchartz thingy and I'v seen an argument constantly come up that I am very proud to support. That is the notion and suggestion that its always the customers fault for a product not doing well.
You know what? Your right! Game developers are simply better people than you ever will be, I mean they make videogames! Think about that, videogames, thats like a doctor but who actually gets a real skill in life that benefits mankind! You think you can make a game? I don't think so, because its takes real genius to make a game about large sweaty men, shooting at each other and using profanity. Or a game based off a current tv, animated,war or just ""inspired"" by older films! You don't have the mental capability of doing such amazing things!
So now I see wonderful, must own, ground breaking, life changing experience like Dead Space Extraction not sell. Sure I could simply say the developer just made a game nobody was interested in but what kind of thinking is that? Developers are perfect! Theres no way they can't make a game you, the lowely knuckle dragging consumer, heavy breathing, metallica shirt wearing wouldn't want to buy! I mean why do you even bother choosing what you want to buy? You might as well throw that money away now, thinking you can choose, your monkey like brain just couldn't handle that!
So next time any product sold doesn't do well, hold your head up high and say it proudly ""Its the customers fault!"" not the people who are paid to make a product to sell.
