Yeah, if you're talking about Hideo Kojima, I completely agree. He was making emotional games that actually had mature themes, ones that only adults would understand,  all the way untill Metal Gear Solid 2. But after everyone was complaining, he sold out and made Metal Gear Solid 3.

I think some of the best war games were some of the old MEdal of Honor's, I think they had a bit of emotion.

So are they gonna be multi or not?  Just buy them Sony! lol

Awesome :D my thoughts the same, the old MOH 'imo' were better than the COD ones. some of the best war games ever made

Again I agree the older medal of honors where great..........they just don't make them like they use to

MoH is still like this, give the newest one a try, you will like the single player, people didn't like it because its like the old MoH games but set in the modern era not Call of Duty, there is more focus on characters and drama than on EPIC EXPLOSIVE ACTION!!

wut? , MGS3 isn't emotional? Big Boss >>>>>>>>>>> Snake thats a fact.

I like the idea. There's more than enough "just for kicks" shooters out there if you're more interested in that.

MGS2-3 were pretty emotional if you ask me.  They had a lot of comedy thrown but held a very interesting story and focused heavily on characters and how they're handling the situations that they're in.

EDIT: I think this is more about just shooters though were as in Metal Gear, you can play a pretty great deal of the game hardly shooting anyone at all and without first person.

What I mean is that MGS3 was aimed more towards teens. MGS2 was so sophisticated that only a few people were able to truly understand the themes and messages portrayed in it.But MGS3 was still emotional, I shedded a tear when I saw Big Boss salute The Boss's grave. What with the music and everything. And Big Boss is in no way better than Solid Snake.

I hope so.  I hope the game had other problems, because if people don't respond to a good emotional story than I hate everyone lmao

Pretty bold statement but most people who bought CoD or any other hot selling FPS out there bought purely gameplay and the riot.

In any case I'm eager to see what he will dish out.

WOW is a discussion about David Cage looking to making a real War Game and not a glorification arcade shooter aimed at 13 year olds like certain others. this has not one thing to do with Kojima Hideo san and his unique philosophy of Game design. so stop with the stupid Kojima Hideo san bashing.

All Metal Gear Games form Metal Gear and Metal Gear II Solid Snake on the MSX2 to he Metal Gear Solid Series all have mature and emotional anti war themed story's mixed with Anime themes and a lot of humor. He also likes to brack the forth wall in every Game in very subtle or very obvious ways. like in MGS2 when you saw the wire frames of the enemy solders at one point to make you think is this just snake in a VR training simulator. and Kojima Hideo san dose not ame the Games at adults he aims all his Games at teens up. Out of interest he also hates valance in Games unless it is necessary to the plot.

it's said that there are so meany Gamers that still to this day don't get Kojima Hideos san Game Design. I suggest Gamers that don't should plat Snacher and Policenauts at once.
