@foxtail  Street Fighter Alpha 3 was released on GBA, that was still awhile ago.

While not pure Street Fighters, GC and Wii also got some Vs. games.  And actually there's been a TON of SF on the Virtual Console.  Full Capcom 2D fighters list for Nintendo consoles...

Home Console

  • Street Fighter II: The World Warrior (SNES) 1992
  • Street Fighter II' Turbo: Hyper Fighting (SNES) 1993
  • Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers (SNES) 1994
  • Street Fighter Alpha 2 (SNES) 1996
  • Capcom Vs. SNK 2 E.O.: Easy Operation (GC) 2002
  • Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Cross-Generation of Heroes (Wii) 2008
  • Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars (Wii) 2010

Portable Console

  • Street Fighter II: The World Warrior (GB) 1995
  • Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams (GBC) 1999
  • Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival (GBA) 2001
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 (GBA) 2002
  • Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition (3DS) 2011

Virtual Console

  • Street Fighter II: The World Warrior (SNES) 2006
  • Street Fighter II' Turbo: Hyper Fighting (SNES) 2007
  • Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers (SNES) 2007
  • Street Fighter II' Special Champion Edition (Gen) 2008
  • Fighting Street (TCD) 2009
  • Street Fighter II' Champion Edition (TG16) 2009
  • Street Fighter Alpha 2 (SNES) 2009

Awesome, I hope it doesn't confuse the hell out of me like the Vanquish sleeve did :P

until now i still don't understand why people get so excited watching 3D at low resolution in stead of HD resolution... @_@

Because the resolution is only one part of the equation.  With a smaller screen, you can get away with a lot more details at lower resolutions than you can if the screen were larger.

I suspect many people throw the term "HD" around without knowing what it really means... Or maybe  Anvel's asking why you'd play it on a small screen instead of a "50 TV?

@jarrod  nice history lesson but i wouldnt consider the VC as a separate console.
