They are very positive, but I can see a problem: many of them talked about the 3G and it's use. While it may be "normal" in Japan  it can be a problem for the rest, where it's use is more expensive, and didn't Sony anounce that there would be 2 versions of the NGP, with and without 3G?  What will happen with those games then?

have you heard of wi-fi and hotspots? i dont intend to pay for 3g service but playing online at home or at a hotspot seems awesome to me so they can do all the online gaming functionalities they want, it's gonna be great

Wait you don't already own a PSP or DS that already does this?

well thats a silly question. isnt multiplayer local only for most games on both those systems? i dont have a single game for either one that has online multiplayer, only local. the fact that i can access online content through either of them isnt exactly something big, i can do that with a crappy cellphone

besides... u totally missed my point. what i said was that those developers can do online on all their games that ur not gonna be unable to play them just cause u dont have 3g

And you miss my point that you can do that now lol hell PSP even has DLC already while DSi has it's own store, and with some DS games you can download updates online like Yu-Gi-Oh

but i cant play online with someone a game like for example dissidia, only through local multiplayer. i cant play a game online with you on my DS can i?

I can play Dissidia online with Ad-Hoc party on PS3 and sure get pokemon or Mario Kart on DS I'll play with you online.

As far as I know, out of the box, the PSP games only have local multiplayer.  To play online, you need to use your PS3 as an "online gate" via Adhoc Party.  Otherwise, you can only play local Multiplayer via Wi-Fi.

Hope that helps.

No PSP games have online modes many of them do.  Like for instance Resistance Retribution it has online multiplayer, clans, and the like, it's not "local multiplayer".

Well, my bad.  Thanks for correcting me.

What you described is far from being the norm though, so please forgive my assumption.
