I"m very excited. I did not really care for SM64 or Sunshine, but Galaxy is definitely in my top 5 games (probably right behind SMB 1 and 3). I think visuall the screenshots look great, probably the best looking images of a 3DS game yet (most games look better in motion than images).

Like I said in another topic, hopefully this is a true new Mario game, and not another rehash of Galaxy. Because if it is the latter, I won't be buying it. Honestly, that's enough with the Galaxy games already. If it truly is new though, I'd be much more inclined to check it out.

I'd say it's a tad too early to become ecstatic about a game we know next to nothing about, bar that it'll be awesome. :P But I can't wait to learn more about this game! I say a Q4 release, this year would be likely.

I'm not sure if that was a dig at me or not...I'm just saying, truly horrible games aren't nominated or winning awards like that, so a large percentage of gamers obviously think those games are great. So it stands to reason that there should be no reason why this new game will suddenly be terrible.

Heheh, nice conclusion. 

But my overall point is that many of the posters here who are bashing the Galaxy games truly, honestly don't care for them as much as they do for other Mario games, so they would much rather avoid having more games in that style.  This is true notwithstanding the fact that millions of others obviously feel differently.  There's nothing wrong with either perspective, so why attack them for voicing their opinions?

I'll be excited when I'll see it in action, if it's not simply a galaxy 3 I'm fine.
