I didn't say that, but they keep implementing things that make them less Zeldaish. Aonuma want's to add 5 million heart pieces out there, but they just turn out to be a collect-a thon because the games are so easy, and therefore having more life is tottaly useless.

What does this have to do with minigames?

And are you saying that minigames make a game less Zeldaish?

I don't think any of these features make Zelda popular, they just make it more niche to the Zelda fanbase. That might be fine to you, but a series that can't expand beyond it's current fanbase will just shrink.

Also this is an incredibly tired argument; if you're going to parrot Maelstrom, please, do it at someone else.

It's the sad state of gamers this generation! Just enjoy the game!

It's hard to hype games that are apart of Legendary franchises. If they show you something you haven't see before in the trailer. Then what's the point of playing the game. It's called Secrets people! Games can't be like movie trailers, and show you all the best scenes. Over hype has and bad effect! See Metroid Other M, Killzone 2, and The Conduit for some examples.

Maybe I'm not so good to know when a Zelda game will be bad with only seeing a trailer. This is the first Zelda OoT video. With this, Nintendo announce what they want to do, and reminds me SS trailer that shows what they want to do, instead of cinematics, bosses and places that never appear in the final game.

Twilight Princess can be a masterpiece, but not better than The Wind Waker. Even when I like TP more, I have to recognize the epicness of TWW.

1. The first Zelda had a gambling minigame. All the best Zeldas have fun little diversions just to waste time. NEXT.

2. What are you answering "no" to, here? I didn't ask a question, nor is your response phrased like a refutation.

Throwing all what into the trash? You haven't actually said a single thing it appears to be losing in comparison to Twilight Princess.

The guy with the eye make-up reminds me of Waka from Okami for some reason. Seems to be the sort of character that disappears and reappears to give you information. Damn, now I feel like playing Okami >_>. 

So yeah, I see him turning out to be an annoying(in a good way, like Tingle) side character, rather than the villain.

Damn now i can't remember... which one was Waka? That annoying self-righteous guy who was actually a good guy but you fought him a few times throughout the game?

I could imagine a character like that. A new Zant or Angahim, though given this game's place in the timeline, it's unlikely to be manipulated by Ganon/dorf

Could very well be a redesigned Vaati, as someone pointed out (or i could be conflating that with other threads i've read, but okay)
