Daily Ads Revenue $425.42

that's it?!?!? That's like 150k a year...wowzers

...I'd be plenty happy with that. 50K or so on the site and people and 100K for yourself. Working at home, your own boss.

Some websites say this sites worth over a million, but others say 300K - 400K so...I dunno.

I suppose...I just always thought of it as a slightly larger operation if you know what I mean.

With VgChartz Pro, I'd wager it could be sold more towards the million mark, possibly considerably higher depending on how well it takes off.  Even if they only have 50 subscribers at $5,000 per subscription (I have no clue what it costs), that is still $250,000 of money coming in every year...add on ad revenue, and you're talking $400,000 per year revenues.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

You don't need hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay staff, and hosting a site is dirt cheap

Really??

Lulz. You mean you don't host this site on a $4.99 Linux economy hosting package from GoDaddy, Brett?

Well, it is relatively cheap compared to other mediums and means of doing business... but, yeah, I wouldn't say dirt cheap.

The thing is that as you add features and need things such as unmanaged access and SSH capabilities, the price starts rising REAL FAST.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if hosting for this site cost Brett $500-600 a month because of the bandwith and hardware requirements of the site. I host a few sites that get about 400,000 pageviews a month (probably less than 1/20th of VGC) and that runs me  a little over $50 a month.

Not a load of money considering the traffic but hardly cheap.

That site isn't accurate at all for any of my domains. It's basing some of its data from Alexa, which is somewhere just shy of completely useless.
