For me sales of Golden Eye are another proof that only reasons to develop on Wii are low budget (Conduit/Madworld/Muramasa) or a good IP to revive. If all you want is good return of investment it's better to develop another party/sports/fitness game or invest into platformer title. |
Leaving doesn't negate the higher costs and risks of the other systems (and the money lost shows the risks are real). It just means to try harder to get them back. And leaving means the DEVELOPERS failed for not making the games or not marketing what they do, not the customers for not buying what they either can't or don't know exists when they can.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
