Well you can play most of the old and the new stuff on it so of course it is the best console.

I'm joining the N64 crowd. GC is comfortably the worst, although there's the Virtual Boy I suppose...

Although the physical issues with that console probably aren't quite as bad as some of the development choices they made in the GC era...

I'd put the Wii somewhere near the top though.

The Wii is a great console with great games.

Stand-alone, would it be the best? Maybe, but with WiiWare and VC, then definitely...

What's wrong with Other M anyway? (And he could mean Metroid Prime Trilogy, a great game )

My current order of preference is NES > Wii > N64 > DS > Gameboy > SNES > GBA > Gamecube

I think all that I need for Wii to be my favorite is for Skyward Sword to be good and Pikmin 3 to actually exist and release on Wii.

No, it actually goes DS>=Wii,  unfortunately, and, due to nostalgic effect, for me, it's GBA>DS>=Wii.

I will agree with the awesomness of the N64 for the sole fact it is the best console for local multiplayer bar none. Although in saying N64 had the best controller makes me wonder if you remember Turok.

But the Gamecube...Galaxy>>sunshine, MKW>>double dash, probably skyward sword>>Windwaker, npc/trilogy>>prime 1&2, DKCR>>BONGO CRAP, Excitebots~Fzero gx, Tetris Party Deluxe>>Tetris Worlds(I'm a tetris junkie ;)). Nintendo published games(minus smash bros, and for right now pikmin) are better on the wii imo. Capcom aswell has delivered just as good, if not better software for the wii.  

Of course you probably admantly disagree, and thus making this a lost cause.
