Ahhh, well.  In the teaser, I saw the following:

Cliched anime dependance on overt violence and a graphical presentation that doesn't look evolved much over Ninja Gaiden II.  Given that this is Team Ninja, I'm sure the game will be shallow as hell and feature a completely insipid story no one can follow with dialog written for little kids, except for all the swearing they'll throw in to make it seem like a game for "mature" audiences.

Otherwise known as the same old crap Team Ninja always does.

Wow, that game makes ninja gaiden look like it should be rated teen.

I can't tell if you're trying to be ironic.

Modern Ninja Gaiden games rarely have any dialogue at all except for the opening chapter, and their stories only exist as silly, self-aware justifications to kill ninjas and demons.

And no - Ninja Gaiden is many things, but it's not going to be shallow if they have any of Itagaki's legacy left over. NG has the best combat in the business except when Mikami struts his stuff.

Edit: Well, the archdemons in Ninja Gaiden II were kind of chatty, I guess, but their dialogue is still intentionally cheesy
