Alright I was quite envious for a moment. £196.99 is still good though, is that from ToysRus? I'm paying £200 for mine.

3DXL i can see waiting for if you want
but seriously? a 3dsi come on guys at least think for a second before you post. Its like those saying i will wait for lite version as well.
The 3DS has already what 3 cameras? and it is smaller than the dslite?
So telll me what would a 3DSi entitle? 3DS already has more cameras, already has motion sensors.
This is awsome.
Being able to play SM64DS with the slide pad
Decent battery life (7 hours of good enough for me)
Region free; that means I can play jump ultimate stars.
Just these three tidbits alone makes the 3DS sound even better. Im still amazed on the battery life. March 27th here I come!

only DS games are region free, though seeing how you mention jump ultimate stars and that is a ds game you may know that.
but just to illilterate, 3DS games are region locked. but for those like me who always owned only one system and it being region locked this now opens up a HUGE backlog catagory of games that i could not play before cause of region locked and never came to my region.
hoping to hear something on mario kart slide pad

You got it; some people only like to read what they want to read.
MKDS is another game that should use the slide pad. If its implemented, then its going to be so much easier on the thumb when you use the turbo boost while drifting and on the D-pad.

Seems to function differently from the nub, as near as i can tell. It should be harder to snap off in the way that the nub could be

If anything I'm worried about the hinge.

Yeah, the hinge will be the first part to break.
I'm not sure why region locking can't just die. It mainly serves to piss people off and encourage piracy.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
