Wow, I never knew pokemon was so damn popular in America. Those numbers are pretty insane for a japanese series thats been running since the late 90's. And lol @ the fact Killzone 3 is behind Gears, even though GOW3 isn't being released for another 6-7 months.

Gears 3 will be beastly. BulleStrom looks good for NEW IP. Killzone 3 is gonna Flop and Pokemon may have biggest week 1 ever in gaming just ahead of 360 Black Ops and Mw2.

Still baffles me what people see in Pokemon. My kids used to play it on their Gameboys when they were 9 & 13yrs old. Now they are 20 and 24 and could care less about Pokemon. It's all about games like DiRT 2, NBA 2K11, CoD, Halo, Marvel vs Capcom 3, NFSHP, Forza 3 & TDU2. They don't even own a DS.Is this just a fanscination for the kids 14yrs and younger? Is there anyone on here who is out of their teen years who play Pokemon?

lol! Are you for real? Pokemon is more "hardcore" than DiRT 2, NBA 2K11, CoD, Halo, Marvel vs Capcom 3, NFSHP, Forza 3 & TDU2 combined. And I am 26 and can't wait for Black & White.
