Just got my 3ds a little while ago along with Layton. Game looks really good in 3d. I wasn't expecting much after I was a bit disappointed with the 3d when I saw the inazuma 11 movie. Layton looked nice! Plus I didn't have to wear those big glasses, hehe.

Congrats to you also! And you got Layton to boot, which sounds good. But what advantages are there with 3D? Is it the animations or is it a mechanic used in the puzzles?

@manuel: Any new findings? :)

As far as I can tell 3D isn't used for solving puzzles. It just looks nice.

thats a shame, but this is first games or launch games.

typically those are sorely lacking in using things to its full potential, and i'm not talking abotu graphics.

@ manuel

What kind of SD Card came with your 3DS was it a official nintendo Sandisk or a cheap blue unbranded card, thanks.

It's a Toshiba card. Looks like this:

But I figured 2GB wouldn't be enough for the years to come, so I ordered a 32GB card yesterday.

Now that you are talking about storage. What is the internal storage on the 3DS?

I don't think I've seen a figure.

I'll get one a couple of months after it comes out. I never get a system right at lauch.

I think I read somewhere that it has 1.5GB of internal storage.

There's not a single word about internal storage in the manual, though. :/

Weird they don't mention it, but it's enough to hold the OS and a few apps and they want you to use the SD as the storage. At least that won't limit the eShop apps sizes since you can download directly to the SD.

Thanks for the reply, but Isn't a firmware update (later in the year) needed for a SDHC cards to work with the 3DS.
