So I'm a fan of The Last Unicorn. I remember seeing it as a kid, I've read the book, I bought the awful US DVD version, and I now I have the great BluRay version. I've even studied it a bit in one of my Medeival Studies classes! I kind of like this movie.
Anyways, I was bored and reading some of the Amazon reviews and some other places and it seems like a popular opinion that the song That's All I've Got to say is one of the low points of the movie!
I absolutely agree that Mia Farrow and Jeff Bridge have no business singing but it's still important and moving. The fact that they're so bad actually makes the song seem that much more genuine and real. My fondest memory of this movie has always been that song and that song (along with FFVI) is one of the things that inspired me to write.
Anyone else a fan of this movie? Anyone else pick up the BluRay? Anyone else agree?
