That is true, so we have no right to complain, and they have reasons not to show the update (earthquake, etc), but it's still something we both appreciate, and I'm just saying I hope PD does update soon. Makes VGC data more accurate.

PD sales update!!!

September 2011: 7.3 million

My prediction is off 600k due the bad Japan sales .

but your original prediction for the first shipment was 700k off too off too for the first shipment.

so if you hadnt changed them you would now be 1.3m off...

For me is petty clear.

 

Sony give us the only number they have now... 5.5M shipped figure of the first two weeks after launch... the same with PS3, Sony don't have the number yet.

For the financial quarter the actual number will be revelead and my point is how much the second shipment is? 1.5M, 2M, 3??? I don't know but I expected number over 7 million shipped for 31th Dec.

so GT5 has undershot your original preictions by 1.3m already... 

My prediction is the OP... I never changed it after start this thread.

I'm 600k off.

I expected 7,930k for Sep 2011... PD shows 7,300k for Sep 2011... 630k off.

For Dec 2011: 8,920k

are you changing your predictions for the rest of the lifetime of GT5 now or leaving them as they are?

That's my predicition... I will never change it.

The other one is... I DON'T KNOW I EXPECTED over 7 million bla  bla bla.

I didn't made maths or checked data... for my prediction I did.

Edit - I will change the table to put a column to show how I'm off.

Considering the fact that the PD numbers represent shipments before the launch of the European GT5/Uncharted 2 bundle I'd say it'll be at that number by the end of this quarter or Q1 next year.

I believe the PD will update again in Dec 2011 or Mar 2012.
